Not quite right. You have 3 inches, but due to the curviness it isn't that useful (limps downwards). My diameter is 3.125" compared to your 3", so technically, mine is wider.

Also, it's how you use it.

I have a question

Maybe Kev can answer this.?
I don't know if this has been talked about before but here goes.
It doesn't make sense to have the supercharger on the opposite side of the throttle body, but in our case it has to be because of the belt drive...or does it. I have seen ( I don't know what car or company) a gear drive supercharger where there is a shaft that runs from the belt drive across the engine bay to the actual blower, which sits right by the throttle body. To me that makes a lot of sense. Without a lot of tubing and bends in piping, there is not a lot of places for boost to leak out of. The blower could be putting air right into the engine in a straight path. Maybe they did it to leave room for intercooler piping? Or maybe they didn't think about it at all.

I believe you are referring to the Vortech kit for the Hinda Civic.

One advantage of the cross-car setup on the max is that it makes room for an I/C with a minimum of extra piping. There really isnt any reason to have the SC blowing right into the TB, as opposed to some pipes. If the pipes have a lot fo bends (as the stillen ones do) they can cause a slight pressure drop and temp increase.
