Race him in your own car! What is up with all these kids racing around in their mom's or dad's car?

I would never make any jokes....

The models after the fox body mustangs and before the '99s are relatively slow. Plus the fact that he has an automagic plus the extra weight of the drop top. The flowmasters aren't going to give him enough power.

Lets put it this way, my friend has a 2k1 v6 stang 5spd. I have an automagic AE. No matter what speed, how him or i started I beat him. Some times more than others, but beat him each and every time. And he can drive cause he power shifts...

94-98 Mustang V6 Automatic Convertible, that's probably a 17.5-18 second car. second car. Run one race at 1/2 throttle, I bet you will still run him.

I beat a 97 auto convertible in my stock 4th gen auto pretty easily. Everyone just thinks they're fast cause its a Mustang.

That's ok... I know my car isn't the fastest in the world, and I don't pretend like it is either.... unlike some people...

v6 Mustang = SLOoooooWWwwW
I raced my teacher's mustang in my 2000 Altima. Now an Altima is pretty slow. We are talking 16.5 for the 1/4. Guess who won? I did. We did this over and over and everytime I kept beating him. I won by very few though. A car length if anything, but I still won.

I would hope that you could beat one because I have beaten two in a 89 five speed. One was a 2000 automatic and the other was a 2000 convertible five speed, the five speed stang gave me a little trouble, until I hit second gear. It was pretty funny. They had even revved at me.

i'm 17 and don't own a car. call me spoiled or whatever, but i think i'm pretty lucky to drive it as much as i do. and the maxima is just too fun not to race against friends and idiots. i plan on racing this kid this weekend and plan to win as well. thanks again everyone

Not saying your spoiled at all. I think disrespectful and just stupid to take your mom's car and start street racing it. How long have you had your drivers license for now? Couple of months? A year? Good luck to your mom and her car! Why even bother....

yeah you're right, i agree what i'm doing with her car isn't right, pretty damn disrespectful,, but hey, i have fun, and i pay for the insurance and would pay for any repairs. and racing is dangerous and blah all that stuff.. but i'm more then willing to deal with the risks.

thanks again
