i gotta agree....production units or pre-production......is it good to do a double wheel burn out like that? Obviously that car has the HLSD

But really....i thought clutches needed like 500 miles to break in....same with brakes. If someone else has beat the snot out of an unbroken in car....and you test it....maybe its not perfect?????

Well, I wouldn't trust their times to be good. They ran the turbo maxima 0-60 in 6.7. I don't remember the 1/4 time, but i'm sure it wasn't very good at all.

That was due to a burnt-out, stock clutch. Just about all the other car mags got their hands on the JWT Turbo 5th gen before SCC did, and flogged the **** out of it, like good testers do. The guys at SCC are good testers too, and that's why they're doing such a monster burnout in a new SE-R. Besides, its not like they're going to keep the thing for themselves.
The other thing about the SE-R is that Nissan did lower their final power rating...by 5hp. SCC's point is that the SE-R Spec-V made a lot less power than they thought(and I thought) it should have. With 180hp(or 175, for that matter), the fwhp really should have been more than 141. The dyno doesn't lie.
