Is there a way to clean the actual HID projector lens?

I recently painted my headlight housing black and noticed that the passenger headlight had a yellowish tinge compared to the driver side. I noticed some haze on the projector lens even though I placed them in plastic bags to avoid dust. I've searched here, HIDplanet, and google and haven't found anything. Should I just use the same type of lens cleaner for video projector lenses? Also, what would be the best solution to use to clean the inside part of the headlight lens? I was going to use a brand new microfiber cloth prior to putting the headlights back in the oven to bake. Thanks for your help.

the cloth might be a good ideal but dont use windex and tiolet paper, itl steal the reflective paint.

as for the lenses use windex and the microfiber if it is still yellow then the lenses have suffered heat stroke which discolors them. (hopefully your talking about the internal projector lense and not the headlamp lense)

now that i think about it the e55 projector came with 2 diff color lenses the light brownish and then the clear blue, your car prolly got a replacement light or the factory messed up.

It may be caused by the the fumes from painting the headlights. I did use a lens cleaning product and notice an improvement although some yellowish haze is still there. I trry cleaning it again. If not, I guess I'll replace the projectors just to even things out.

I've heard for lens cover an eraser does a good job. But don't quote me on that one.

I ended up getting a projector lens cleaner from Office Max and that did the job.
