Question about Stillen Aero Kit Warranty

So after 2.5 years, i hit a bump and my Stillen front lip decides to crack. I just got off the phone with Stillen and they want me to call back on Monday to speak to a guy that handles the warranty on the kits. Has anyone had any experience with getting a new lip from them under warranty?

pic for reference.

I don't see why they would warranty something that could be hit by a road critter and after 2.5years at that.

yes pink vinyl LOL i'm also boosted so when someone wants to act hard about it I have power to back it up haha anyway I hit a dip in the road going like 5mph and it cracked. FYI stillen does warranty their lips for the lifetime of your car. I spoke to customer service about it and I just need to call back Monday. The rep said it might of cracked due to the drastic changes on temps. I Just had questions for anyone who has done the warranty

Yes sir, serious as cancer man lol. thats why i opted to buy the Stillen kit over the Ionic kit. hopefully they hold up their end of the bargain since it is plastered ALL over their website.

Their warranty applies to manufacturing defects, not road hazards (impacts).

Seriously....

....and i quote straight from Stillen's website:

All of the STILLEN urethane parts are so flexible, durable and impact resistant that we guarantee our urethane components against breakage or cracking in normal use for as long as you own your vehicle. These urethane products are so tough, we included a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
seriously.....

it was normal use. i didnt go 100mph and hit a raccoon. when i say hit i meant i crept over a steel plate covering a dip in the road but the dip wasnt completely covered on the front side. my car went into the dip and this was the outcome. it wasnt a hard hit so i didnt think of anything at the time since it happens a lot and i drove to my friend's house before i even realilzed it broke.

It's worth a shot since they did say it is covered but if worse comes the worse i'll buy another one from them. no big deal.

You need proof of purchase from where you bought it from. If you bought it second hand, your beat. You actually need a reciept or they wont do anything for you. I had to call the company I bought it from and get a faxed copy over to me.

Limited Lifetime Warranty. I heard that before with electronics. Lifetime turned out to be 90 days.

Thank you sir.i called Stillen and unfortunately, the shop i bought mine from has closed so i cant get a bill of sale from them from Stillen and even with the shop's owner name and address it isnt possible since i dont have physical proof of the purchase from Stillen.

even though i cant get mine, they do honor the lifetime warranty with the proper paperwork and proof like what Matty said. with that being said, i ordered another one from them.

Oh yea, thats totally Stillen's fault, anybody could see that. Poor manufacturing on stillens behalf caused all that damage to happen. Too bad you didn't have the proper paperwork, I mean, any good manufacturer would gladly replace their product when something like that happens.

Seriously.......

within reason they will replace the part. this is from 2nd hand info...
They want you to take a pic of the damage and cut the piece of the kit that has the part number on it and send it to them and they would send you a new piece...BUT that's up to their discretion.

Yea, save the paperwork and watch out for those steel plates.
Stillen does make a great product, no doubt about it.

You going to go with the hot pink again?
