Undercar rust-proofing

I have searched through this forum and the internet as well and haven't been able to find too much on what maxima owners have chosen for rustproofing their cars. I have been looking at POR-15. Anyone used it? Does anybody have any recommendations? I was even thinking of the paint-on rhino lining. This is will become a necessity for me since my maxima is just starting to hit the streets of Colorado. Thanks.

I know a few people that used POR15, as long as your prep work is good, the POR15 will work fine.

Find a ZieBart. I would assume that they have them out there. They have several different levelks of protection.

Growing up in Northest PA where all the roads were covered in salt chews up cars.

Sound deadening and rust proofing?

In my searching, I have come to believe that POR 15 may do great for rust protection and fix any problem areas that I may already have. I started to think that I might be able to reap some additional rewards...such as sound deadening. This is where I started to think paint on rhino lining might be better for both benefits. But after rhino lining my wheel wells, I'm not sure I want to go through that much trouble. The application and clean up of rhino lining is a PITA.

A friend of mine said that a few years back he lined the underside of his truck with something similar to rhino lining, but that it had more of a rubberized texture and feel. He raved about it and mentioned how quiet the ride had become while traveling down dirt roads. Anyone have any idea what this product might have been? Thanks!
