Hey Cyrus I said I think our auto turbo's would be better than 5spd turbos cause we could revv and brake boost off the line and have them. Just cause we arent 12-second supecars like big don I still think we'd have the advantage

Man, now THAT would make good 'ol Darren think twice before dissin' automatics again

Re: Re: But it doesn't matter...

Darren, I mean Sprinty, will always diss automagics. Even ifs there are ones faster than the fastest 5spds *cough*Don in Texas*cough*. But the turbo would be an awesome idea, as long as there aren't too many parts that will need to be strengthened. Adding parts is a good thing but replacing them, I'm not so keen on. BTW, Spritey has problems of his own: they're called refills. Something we hopefully will never have to deal with.

ok ummm
you guys personal stuff you can chat about over email, phone, IM or private message, no offense and im sure i speak for alot of people, dont really care about colonge smelling skool ladies and each other sisters.

back to the topic....in theory an automatic turbo is better then a manual turbo. thats in THEORY, thats not the case for the Maxima. The auto trans sucks, youll need to do extensive work beefing up the trans before you get realiable power. See how long a 12 or 13 sec turbo auto Maxima will last you. drop the trans pan and take a look at your magnets...if you saw mines youd know what i mean..heh

Yeah but if you're talking an auto with the VB mod and even a full L10 tranny swap, then that means TROUBLE for even turbo 5-speeds.

Well

I guess we just need to get an Automagic Boosting to Find out.
I thought 95Turbo was an Auto and swaped to 5spd. If so then he would know best. I'd like to hear what 95Turbo is running 1/4 just wondering We are exploring the unknown but Im about to find out what my car will do on boost. Getting real close.

Possibly true.. but nothing beats the fun of driving a 5-speed. and it narrows down the people begging me to drive my car!

Huh ? That's exactly what I just said except auto's will own manuals. Both turbo, given the auto has time off the line to brake boost. (and considering his auto is built up tough)...auto will own.

I haven't seen Papasmurf at any of the local meets lately...I now last he said he had some things he had to take care of.
