2002 Car of the Year

I know this is an Maxima forum, but I think I can post this for it is part of the Nissan family.

2002 Nissan Altima named North American car of the Year!

------------
It is very important for this is the first time in HISTORY, that a Japanese car is on this list!!

Way to go Nissan!!

And...

And... It was done at Detroit auto show, which I think is a slap in the face of GM, Chrysler & Ford.
Also, a North American car which is made entirely in Japan!
