anyone have this happen ? im pretty sure i put the clip back in right but it doesnt seems to be returning the throw out bearing against the wall of the tranny like it should...im thinking i should get a new clip...any ideas?

The clip is there to hold the shift fork in the tranny. This is the Y fork that is pushed by the slave cylinder correct?? The clip just holds the fork onto the "ball" that's inside the transmission housing. But you should make sure you have the bearing the correct way and not facing the wrong way. Make sure you use the proper type of grease on the shaft the TO bearing rides on also.

Yes the Y fork.. so all it does is hold the Y in place? should the Throw out bearing return all the way to the wall of the tranny when its released?
And im sure i have the T.O.B the right way

Maybe a little but again, it's not really the clip's function.
