It doesnt matter which switch you use( drivers door versus the other doors), they all are slow! They actually stop and need to be helped along! Just started happening. They all roll down fine! We did have a dead battery and just replaced it.

would all window motors go bad at once? Or can the master switch be causing this issue? Something we need to reset after changing battery? It is cold out, but not as bad as a few weeks ago!

 

switch just tells the regulator/window motor to do their job. all 4 windows doing it is too coincidental to be 4 bad regulator/motor assemblies, how cold is it where you are?

 

its been around 10 above f, but when battery died it was -32 f. Yesterday was around 25 as high, windows worked better with exception of drivers side. We had the alternator, battery tested and checked out battery connectors. All were good. So we did the silicone spray in the window channels. That seemed to take care of it. If not master switch and or motor is out next step to test. Only thing i didnt like about the silicone is now windows are coated in it ugh! Wipe it off the best we could. Just hoping it wont freeze!

 

Bad ground perhaps. I remember when I added a grounding kit to my 2007 the windows all moved a bit quicker. They were never slow like you described, but they sure did go quicker with the restored ground. Was like 5 wires, I actually made my own using a PDF install guide for a pre-made kit, and just followed along. Was able to make my wires a little longer so I could route them better, probably spent almost as much as if I bought the premade kid.

 

that would be a bit out of my league, but something to keep in mind. So far the silicon spray is working.

 

grounding kits are actually fairly easy to install. its just wires from battery negative bolted to anything thats grounded like the engine block, transmission, and a few odd chassis points
