Apple CarPlay messing up 2018 Maxima SV - Help

Hey guys just got a 2018 Maxima SV, love the car, came from a 2014 Altima. Definitely a nice upgrade. I have come to love Apple CarPlay. Although I have come across some issues or bugs that happen randomly. If you guys have any tips on how I can prevent them from happening I would greatly appreciate it

- CarPlay will randomly shut down and take me back to main Maxima menu, re-open CarPlay but wont put any audio through besides the radio. Usually happens if I open the camera application or Snapchat or something like that.
- What I have been doing to fix it is, un-plug my phone, go back to the menu select smart phone connection plug my phone back in, then click car play and switch back to USB 1. (This problem sucks when it happens because it allows CarPlay to come back up on the screen. But any type of audio wont play ie; text messages, maps volume etc. - Sometimes this takes multiple tries. And when reading a text message sometimes it wont even read it. I have to sometimes shut the car down and start it back up.

- When reading text messages the voice is pretty fast and sometimes just goes on and on and on like a run on sentence. Is there any way to slow down the voice?

- Is there any way to prevent Siri from reading every single emoji in a sentence or a contacts name? For example it will say “New text text message from Alex “(old woman and dark skin tone)” Super annoying.

I had similar connectivity issues that were resolved with a new cable. Apparently my cable was good enough for some functionality but not ideal for all.

Interesting, I am using a brand new apple cable. It will randomly cut out at times and say Apple Car Play stopped working. Then cut back to CarPlay but wont read text messages or anything. I usually just unplug the USB side of the cable, go back to the menu and press the CarPlay button then switch over to USB1. Pretty annoying.

Thanks for any and all help.
