S/charger Complete!!thanks To God And Mardigrasmax, Belt And Fmu Problem Solved
I want to say thank you everyone that helped out with the posts Y2kev, cheston, Maxnout Ken Smith. Matt (MardigrasMax) god bless you for taking time to look over what I did especially with the FMU, I really appreciate it. I would not have a car right now if Matt didnt show up. Michael (Cumalot) thank you for helping as well I really appreciate it, I couldnt have done it without both of you guys.
Problem one problem a strong buzzing noise from the FMU
1. THE WIRING WAS HOOKED UP WRONG IT WAS BACKWARDS + AND - , SO THANKS TO MATT HE FIGURED IT OUT IN SECONDS.
What other problem did it cause on the first test drive the car had no power it was almost dead in 2nd gear so my RPMS WOULDNT GO PAST 2500.
so by hooking up the FMU correct it made it quiet and now the car has way more power.
2. PROBLEM TWO THE BELT IF YOU LOOK FROM THE TOP OF THE CAR IT WAS JUMPING ON TOP OF THE ALTERNATOR PULLEy RAIL to the left away from the car. It was overlapping by about 1/8 of an inch. I lined it up and then when you turn on the car bam it scoot back over again away from the car, no matter whether I loosened or tightened the belt.
Solution I took out the plastic idler pulley flipped it around with the US symbol facing outward, problem solved. So if you hook up the small idler pulley backwards thats whats going to happen. Lucky my hands are not that big so I solved that problem in about 15 Mins and boy am I one Happy guy.
,
Next project ACT CLUTCH, it is sitting in one of my rooms.

We even had two different Police officers get off to see what I was doing!!!!!!!
We even had two Department of Defense police officers come over and ask Matt what is this the fast and the furious you got NOS he said and Matt said yes and showed them the complete hook up!!!!That Cop is cool so he knew the the parking lot was a mess with all Maximas all over the place. That was the 2nd cop that had drove by and since they come over my place every hour on the hour. Tonight is a good night now I can rest in Peace.

So how's it running Jaime? I'm sure you didn't really stomp on it with your stock clutch right? Ok...maybe just a little.
I wanted to stay to take a ride, but I had to go home and watch WWF.

I personally don't know how I could stand to have a supercharged 5spd max !!! Those things must be so freakn fast....and noone gives the maxima respect, when the 5spd max could hand 90% of cars on the road their @sses in a doggy bag, much less a supercharged one

Well I just had to vent cause I always get cocky b@stards telling me about how this and that can beat my Max..
Anyways If I were you jay, I'd go fabricate a "Stillen supercharged" decal to stick on each side your your front door. I would design it in the font of the Ford Lightning. "Lightning"... DAMN that would look sweet man. I couldn't find a pic of it in chrome/black on the car but here is an example:

BTW Jay did you get a V1 or V2 supercharger ? I couldnt get the V2! I want a LOUD Wahhhhhhhhhh to let everyone know they better not **** with me
Anyways jay, my man, go get your windows tinted, paint your calipers red, get the decals, and go hunting for supra's

Sorry dood, but Stickers and paint??? That crapp is for little kids with Hondas.
Besides, why advertise? There is nothing better then woopin up on an unsuspecting Rustang when they get itchy. I am all for the Max getting respect, but you don't need stickers to get it.
And hunting for Supras? Easy Cheetah!!! Don't know about the Supras where you come from but around here they frequent the ~400hp range. There is no way a FWD Max is going to walk down a RWD car pushing over 400hp.
Don't mean to bag, but come on....

Once you become a newbie, you will learn how to post a reply
I wasn't talking about the Twin-turbo supra's bro. They are serious business. Yes, they unlike the Maxima have a drivetrain that was made for speed. But a S/C'ed 5-speed maxima, should have no problem with a regular supra, but they are still fast.
And if I could get a "stillen supercharged" sticker in the font and what-not of the lightning, i would. But then again EVERY little riceboy and muscle car boy would wanna race you!

Also, thanks for the BS excuse about non-turbo supras. Jeesh, why don't you go looking for kids playing with a Wheel-Barrow while you are at it!!

BTW - the S/C kit does come with the Supercharged/Stillen decal... mine will stay in the garage drawer... No hints... that's why I like the V2SQ

Craig Mack clik on my profile see my calipers painted, they are green they are riced out already
, as for the stickers I cant go out and pick races yet I am on my stock clutch and the stickers wouldnt make it any better, but on that same note Matt has this tight sticker with the infinti symbol side ways which look like a Pacman and then little dots and at the other end it has the H symbol with the Type R, he also is giving me two Vortech stickers they are nice. As for the V1 that what Mardigras Max has that sounds very loud and nice someone can hear you coming from 3/4 of the block. Has a sweet electronic type whining noise. Sounds Nice. Also the V2 if you listen to a car next to you, it can be heard. I already heard an integra with a whining noise when I was with my wife on my way to Winn Dixie maybe I can run his *** and I have to look for that little blue hatchback civic that beat me half a block race he had many gauges in his car, I want to spank his *** so he can be like I got spanked back.

It's cool man, just messin with you now.
Yes those TT supras are fast as he!!. My friend has a 95TT with the basic supra mods, it dyno'd at like ~460. Rediculous numbers I tell ya.

What does he run ? I cant even imagine being in a car with that type of power...sick..Jay, I know your calipers are green, I just think red would look cooler, better in tune with your car, and more aggresive
Jaime, where did you saw the blue Civic hatchback? Was it a white guy driving it? I wonder if this was the same guy I talked to at Sonic Boom. He had some gauges on the gauge pod, overall the car looked very clean. If this is the same guy, even your SC will be no match for him. This guy had a Prelude engine swap plus a turbocharger. He claimed that he can run 12s if he drive it right. Who knows.

I had a 99 Honda 900RR and that thing was fast, but it was not as intimidating as this Supra was.
I would love! to get one, but the fear of that kind of power under me.... yikes. Dead or in jail.
I will say, if you ever get a chance to ride in a suped Supra, enjoy.

Well back then he just pulled away from me but I could have caught him have we been on the highway. I ll still race that ugly little civic hatchback I cant stand those cars period. I do like the accords and the civic SI and the preludes, I am not dumb to put all that money in some worthless lightweight box. Yes thats the guy with white rims, he quickly turned switches and all to race me, he probably just did all those upgrades to his car.

I was a civic guy for a while. Although I didn't buy my civic to hook it up, when I got it, I was just getting a car. I dumped a bunch of money on stupid crap like intakes and buzzing coffee can exhausts and stickers. Then I blew the little 1.6 motor up. So I dropped $5k on a new 1.8 gsr motor. went through another phase with that motor. After I finally waisted like $10k on usless stuff I actually had the car looking good and it was fast as crap. Wish I would have done that in the first place.
After all was said and done I dropped $16k into that car and paid less then that for it. One day I looked at my car and said, damnn it looks good...... but it is still just a Honda Civic. Sold it that month and got my first Max.
It kills me that I still see guys with thier Civics and Integras that I used to run with. They still have the same car and are still blowing all their money to make it look different from the next guy.
Money pit!
So was your idler pulley on backwards originally? Or did you flip it backwards? I'm asking because my car is at the shop getting the SC installed, and they just called to tell me that the pulleys weren't lining up. They said that for some reason, my 3.33 pulley wouldn't line up with any of the other pulleys, and so it was eating the belt basically. They called Stillen and were told to shim the pulley so that it lined up better. Just wondering if it's the same problem you're having.
