I have a 2k2 SE. I put a custom catback on with a pro 1 of japan muffler. Sounds really good bu a little to loud for my taste in the car. Will putting a longer resonator on the car make it quiter (after cat)? Or secondly if I put the stock resonator back in will that make it quieter? Thanks for any help

 

Yea the resonator will quite it back down considerably. IMHO your system is TOO quite, putting uno resonator back on is plenty

 

What I was planning on doing was switching the custom resonator, which is a tiny enlarged pipe, with the stock one.
