HIDS are awesome thats the deall!!!!

I just watched Lethal Weapon 2. Not intended for those with properly aimed HIDs

woooooo dont get ripped off paying over $1000.00 for HID kit, you can now get them for what $410.00 shipped, they are nice and bright. Correction HIDS has nothing to do with being a rice boy, so lets quit with the ignorant comments. Is it worth the $$$$$ yes. I like the purple tint, I am sure if one owned a set you wont see BS like this, also I PM deezo for the aiming since some cars sit low stock those will easily get blinded, of course not my fault but out of courtesy I will re aim down just a bit more.

Thats the thing though, i had a mismatch before...its not like one was blue and the other was purple....its just they were matching in color after I had them for about 3 weeks. I went back to Freddie's and he have me a new set of bulbs. Its been a couple of weeks not and its the same as before.

One of my headlamp assembly is dingy and scratched cuz its old (just the lens part). The other side has a brand new one from the accident. So at first I thought that was the reason for discoloration between the two. But then I though, lets see if when I change the bulbs around will they still have the same color, and they do, so I know for sure it can't the the dingy lens that is making the difference, do you guys know what I mean? It is ****ing me off cuz Im real picky and like my stuff as close to perfect as possible. They look stupid one is bright blue with a very bright white and the other is dull and blue......I think Im going to call Freddie and see if I can get another pair cuz this is getting ridiculous...im not trying to be a pain in the @ss but I paid too much money for this headache...big or small.

The best thing to do is contact Freddie. I know how you feel and Freddie would feel the same as you would if he was having the same problem.

I don't have specific pricing on these. Kinda hard to get. I had one 9004 set which went on a 95 Maxima, just to see what they look like on frosted lenses, and they came out great. I have another 9004 set going on a friends car. I had a H4 set, until I tested them out on my Pathfinder, and another Pathfinder owner bought the kit off my car for $500 no questions asked. He gave me Raybrig H4 bulbs, and once we installed them, he is gonna send me a few more customers. I got my H4 set yesterday, and I installed them, my lenses are really messed up, but the color and light on the floor is sickening. Toylet got a ride in my car, and he even said it makes his Panasonic kit look like crap. As we were working on my friends Impreza, he spotted my H3 OSRAM HID Kit, and as a joke we installed them in his foglamps. I was envious of how awesome the color looked. The 3 of us met on Franny Lew w/ another friend, and we had a mini car show, and even an HID show of sorts. The Montero my friend came in was sick, makes alot of the Maximas w/ interior lighting/ strobes/ system look tame. Graphics design on the side and equipment all JDM. Insane.

The April 6th BBQ in LI will showcase alot of new items, new HIDs, new products, and fun for all.

Expect pricing around $480+ shipping on a order of 10 units. My retail is easily $600 w/ the sorted duties fees, and custom brokers fees. I've done all the testing on Golden Glory's car, which we used the 9004 kit pictured above. I compared them Hanabis Blue/Purple, Panasonics, old Philips 4300K, and my Ichikoh 6000K H4 hi-Lo system.
The OSRAM H3 HID system is a custom kit, and I have no plans to produce anymore, since it took me 8 attempts to get the capsule to sit properly in a H3 housing.
I really want to see these in person. Do you lose your hi-beam with that kit?

Dude, you need to seriously re-aim the things. Do that and you will be golden. I personally think that this glare hubbub is way overblown. I have tweaked the headlight aiming several times and believe I have made a good trade-off between glare and visibility--at least, as good as can be obtained for the 9004 housing. You should not be seeing plates from 2 blocks away!. When I am a car length behind some person, their bumper really lights up (especially chrome bumpers). At this distance, their upper trunk and rear window are very dark so that I know there is little glare there. The pattern in front of me on the road is defuse. Too well delineated a pattern a short distance ahead may mean they are focused too low. Contrary to others remarks, you don't read road signs or anything else several blocks ahead...

Leave it to me to miss the finer points. So Hogan's pics are of the 8000k HIDs on YOUR car? To me, the pattern on the ground would indicate that the lights are roughly aimed properly. You think there is a lot of glare? because I don't see a lot of extraneous illumination in the pic. Why do you say that the light is all over the place? The pattern on the ground is diffuse but confined. Is it different in person?

Just wondering because I am very happy with my Hanabi's and although there is some glare, it is safe to say they do not pose a menace on the road. Far too often, people drive around with one or more headlights/fogs that are pointed way too high, and don't even notice. BTW, in my area, getting flashed means your lights are GROSSLY blinding. People here don't honk and flash at the slight provocation so NOT getting flashed doesn't mean much--and I understand that.

I am sure it was a figure of speech, cus I know nobody can read license plates, streets, etc from 2 blocks away in the daylight.

I second this. Although since I've installed mine no one was flashed me...but that's not to say I haven't blinded anyone either.

obviously some major modding is needed to get the H3 HID kit to work properly. disassembly, cutting, and splicing = joy of custom HID foglamps.

hard work usually brings good results. have you installed one on a 4th gen? how long did it take you to install yours?

thanks.
