Possible Coil Pack Problem

Possible Coil Pack Problem
I removed my front left spark plug (position while working on car) to check its condition (make sure it wasn't burning, etc.), and after I put it back in my car sort of stutters every so often. Especially at lower rpms (~1500) with deep gas pedeal position. Anyways, I then looked at it again and as I started the car before looking at it the Service Engine Light came on. My mechanic who was with me hooked up diagnositcs and it said "Misfire Cylinder 2". We replugged in all the sparkplug connectors to the coilpacks and reset the code. It hasn't turned on, but now it still stutters (not as bad as before though).
Anyone had this happen?

I can't tell which plug is misfiring. When I pull all three of the front plugs the stutterring gets really bad. I think one of them is working, but way underpowered or something. Which cylinder is cylinder 2???

BRIAN V: where did you have that diagnostic test done??
Id bet anything its a bad coil pack. I had the exact problem about a yr ago and it turned out to be on of the rear packs was shot. I just bought a new one for the rear bank and moved it around till the problem was gone.
And now i have the exact symptoms once again Im probbaly just gonna buy either all 6 or just 5 new ones and call it a day.
BTW the packs will run you $65-75each from Nissan.
**Make sure you look and see what brand is stamped on your pack cause Nissan offers 2 different brand coil packs**

You might also check the spark gap on that plug. Since the holes are so far down in there, if you drop the plug in, it can bend the ground strap a little and squish your gap. Also check for chipping and stuff on the insulator and electrode. If the platinum on the tip gets scratched the plug will miss quite a bit.

I changed every coil pack and was absolutely frustrated. I ended up checking the compression of the engine and everything. FOr five hours I couldn't figure it out. Then I pulled spark plug out of cylinder #2 and saw a hairline crack on the outside, put in a new one, and it's running like a charm again. Too bad it took me five hours. However, I did drive around for like 15 minutes with the OBDII machine hooked up.
It seems my air intake temp for normal city driving is around 120F, and my coolant temp is 195-202F
