How reliable are these pulleys?
- Went to Los Angeles from San Francisco and back within 3 days.
- Drove high double digits to low triple digits all the way there.
- Did some top speed runs.
No problems.

Just curious. How necessary are these aluminum pulleys? Should one wait until his/her pulley(s) start going bad or buy as a preventative measure? Are there warning signs? Or is it just 'kaplooee' one day? Although the pulleys are still plastic, didn't I read that they have been improved? Therefore, if we bought our chargers recently, should we still be concerned? Lastly, does this happen inevitably to everyone or can it be avoided by not tightening the serp. belt so tight? Thanks, sorry for all the questions, I just want to know how seriously I need to take this 'melting pulley' thing.
