And straightening myself means no more street racing...and no other bad things like drinking/smoking/partying etc.
please dont tell me you were doing all of that?

Im glad you guys arent dead, but i'll hold my sympathies until you reply. Sorry if dont seem real sad, but geez, theres some holes in that story. But glad you arent dead. And good luck with the going straight. I wish you the best with that. Once again, really glad nobody was seriously hurt.

Nobody supports dangerous people. All you can do in life is handle yourself accordingly and hope everyone else does the same. Trying to police everyone around you will end up making you nuts.

When its your time to go, its your time to go.
Enjoy life while you can...as long as it doesn't hurt others.

And by the way, my wreck with the 18-wheeler was completely his fault, not mine. It actually did the trick, I've yet to cause an accident in 7 years...and counting.

I am 16 as well, and have stayed out of an accident so far *knock on wood too *...but unfortunately, i do have a speeding ticket, but i've learned my lesson from that, i'm slowed it down quite a bit...but people learn from their mistakes, so hopefully for sHO has as well

Cars can be replaced. All of us here obviously have this sick obsession with are cars that only we can understand and I know how tough it is to see your car destoyed after all the work you put into it. But youll forget all that a when you get another Max (or other car). Just be glad you still have your friends and your life. Since my accident I drive like an old women. People look at me like I'm a freak! I'm so EXTRA careful and I don't even get tempted when someone trys to mess with me on the road. Don't let yourself get into those bad habbits again. You got a second chance. I'm glad you guys are all OK.
-Peace

Re: My car Totalled.....

Thank God you, and your passengers are ok. You bring up a very important point re street racing (especially in NJ, seeing as we have Atco and the Pocono raceway at our disposal should the need for speed prove too great.)

What would we all do if we killed a friend riding with us, or a family of five just because we couldn't let an a$$hole pass us? It is simply not worth the risk.

I am all for speed (1970 Dodge Challenger R/T w/440), but also for exercising responsibility in wielding what IS a deadly weapon.

Stay safe, and I hope at least one person takes some notes.

I'm glad that you and everyone else is ok. The pictures of the roof look like it could have been a lot worse.
