I used a variety of waxes before i came across Meguiar's Gold Class liquid Wax----I love that stuff!! Buffs off so easily, and no white residue!! Yeah, it's kinda expensive..but others on the org will tell you to pay a lot and get Zaino (they swear it's the best..too expensive for me )

also---no matter what wax you decide...you should put a nice coat of polish on before.

They are pretty good if you only plan on using one product that does it all. Turtle wax is a polish/clear/wax all in one. Just make sure you follow the direction on the bottle. For better results, you probably need to spent more time. Use different products that are tailor to your specific paint problems. For example, you have tons of swirl marks. You would want to use some mild polish to remove them from the clear coat before you put the wax on.

TurtleWax is good...

But if I were you I would spend the extra few bucks and buy Mothers Carnuba Cleaner Wax. It really hides blemishes while cleaning off debris and leaving a beautiful shine - on all colors. Treat your car to a layer of Meguiar's Professional ShowCar Glaze #7 just before and you've got a show car finish. Really.

re:

turtle wax is fine as long as you know what you're doin. though you can get a bunch of products, unless your a showman or theres a special occasion, id just stick with the all in one.

How about the Turtle wax color cure wax? It comes with a 'crayon' type thing to fill in chips. I have lots of paint chips (insert comment about Nissan paint here) but I don't feel like going through all the trouble of filling them with touch up paint now.

It wears off quickly.
