Here is another thing to do...
I know this one will work nicely for a superblack/jetblack car. You take out the housing of your lights, and then wrap it in woman's stocking (could be man too, up to you!).
Seriously, wrap the housing inside the stocking, tie the stockings and secure them nicely in the back side of lamp housing (so it faces the body).
You will see that this will make your tail seem to be "smoked", and it will give you a matte black color. And no, it does not reduce visibility from the cars behind you.
We used to do this to our cars back home, and I could give you a picture from my girlfriend's Prelude to show you.
Too bad I "only" have a dark green Maxima (which BTW looks really cool in late afternoon (cloudy days))
My 2 cents....

Ok I used another shot from FJC and chopped the hell out of this pic. I removed the badging the reflections and the reverse lights.
I trimmed the chrome on this pic and I think it looks sharp. I could have done better with the pic but I was too lazy to make it really professional.
What do you all think?

I just saw the ebay add for them, they show them in the dark and I think they look pretty good. The LED lights look cool.
