So you feel comfortable now with the Injen fitting both 6 speed and auto?
I know you were concerned for awhile.

I've got some new pics with the grill, my clears, 3M and .org plate holder (It's been a while since I took any). I'm going to post them soon along with a new sig this week sometime.

Updated my homepage - finally.

Still need to create another sig though.

Looks like this GD might go through after all - it's all in the timing though.

Here is Adventon's GD prices. Looks like a great deal to me if this $190 shipped deal doesn't go through. It is $6-7 off there normal low *** price plus I think its like $7-8 shipping but not to sure.

Hello Matthew (blubyu2k2),
Thanks for the inquiry, here is the group buy info for MAXIMA.org members
only. Since our prices are already hugely discounted, this has got to be
the best price in the country. Thanks for the love and support!!

95-99 Nissan Maxima (Blue/Red) = $217.78
95-99 Nissan Maxima (Polish) = $211.56
00-01 Nissan Maxima (Blue/Red) = $224
00-01 Nissan Maxima (Polish) = $217.78
02-02 Nissan Maxima (Blue/Red) = $217.78
02-02 Nissan Maxima (Polish) = $211.56

We appreciate your business!!

Thanks.

Easy there. They gave me the same price you posted + a flat shipping rate of $12.75 which equals about $230. I just estimated at $230. If you are excited over $5-$10 then go knock yourself out. Lil B!tch.

Now now....
Saving anything is great. It's not about the $5 - 10, it's about paying less than usual (posted prices).

[wag finger]No need for namecalling - either of you.[/wagfinger] Although the "Old news sarcastic tag" would fit if the price was posted already. I know Adventon gives out that price if you call or write, but I don't think it's been posted before.

Either way - I think the price is pretty good - $190 shipped would be better ($5 - 10 would turn into $40 - sorry but I would get excited about that).

Now lets just shake smilies and play nice.

Sorry - in a nosebutting mood - I'll bow out now.

I have a whole 15 days to wait for 95emerald to finalize the deal...if not then Adventon's normal price is not bad at all...

I think I'll go polished.

Prolly order before Aug 15.
Especially since the sensor part of the MAF is
< $70 (did you see that thread?). Not quite as worried about the babying of it during installation and having to switch back the stock if I screw up.

Shaydz
I read that whole thread...I understood that most were talkig about intakes and not a cai system, but am i correct to assume that the MAF malfunction can happen on a 4th gen like it does (according to the thread posts) on a 5th gen? Are there any reported problems with the Injen RD CAI?

well last time I added $211.56+12.75=$224.31 not about $230 shipped. As for the little b!tch comment I'll except that from a little angry internet b!tching punk. Peeps if you don't want to wait to see if the GD is goin on save yourself $6-$8 by mentioning maxima.org but for the people that just want to flame me and talk about saving $5-$10 just go to nopi and pay $280 I mean who gives a F U C K about saving money anyway. I try to look out and save everyone a few pennies and get flamed by some moron who forgot to post the details he recieved.

If you do a search - there are at least 5 or 6 solid threads about all Intakes, Year models, MAF failures versus intakes, etc.

After all of it, my take was on the 2K2 the early MAF sensors are a POS. It WILL fail eventually regardless of intake (or even stock box). The intake they replace it with is better quality.
I'm not sure about 4th Gens. I have read the haphazard handling of the MAF during intake installation and the over-oiling of K&N's can cause MAF failures as well regardless of Gen.

Intakes and Maf failures are prolly the most talked about subject on the .org. Do a search, get a drink and prepare to spend a night researching. Lots of opinions out there.

I will do the Injen for the sound, HP and the looks. IF I have a MAF failure, I will switch the stock back and go for warranty. If it does it again, I may re-think, but that's just my course of action.

The same thing happened with the new Type-S body kits for all 4th gens...people find out about it and then get too demanding. Whoever wants there CAI already, then feel free and get it on Adventon for regular price...it's not like it's a $100 difference or something. Just cut out a few drunken weekends or club nights and you'll be fine.

As for the $190 shipped GD by 95emerald, he's said many many MANY times that he's waiting on his supplier. Suppliers are always a problem. Then the suppliers also have their connection and that sometimes can become a problem. So whoever is whining or complaining better buy their ish on Adventon.com and stop posting on this thread unless you're offering a better GD or have important information to relay.

Jeez...see all the drama that people have to go through when others want lower priced stuff...

I think this GD is dead, so your best buy is at adventon.com for $218 for the polished and $225 for the red and blue.
