I got Maxima embroidered in Graphite, in the 4th gen font.
I also ordered a Black E-Brake Boot

I decided to stick with the Platinum over the Mist Grey, after speaking w/Eric. The Puddy/Mist Grey recommendation is for an 00-01 Maxima in Frost. We concluded that is possible that the 02 Frost tones may be slightly different. So I decided to stick with what I saw with my own eyes. Katzkin and Leatherseats.com leather is from the same place.

 

Hopefully you can make a list of those that have already ordered too? Just so we have some more accountability up in here. I'm eagerly awaiting the leather upgrade!

I really hope this deal doesn't fall through, after how long we've waited, and how hard we've recruited.

When you call in to place the order, they take your credit card #. So in that way, yes you can pay later. I am almost positive they will not take C.O.D.'s, checks, cash, M.O.'s, etc...

 

Anyone getting a blond interior done?

Eric recommended Sandstone/Driftwood, but I think the sandstone may be too dark; I'm leaning towards cream.

I want it just like what's in the 5th picture in the beginning of this thread.

 

I orderd mine yesterday 10/03/02. I was'nt on the original list of buyers but I've been monitoring this GD. Eric from leatherseats.com said we are still waiting for the other people to order to confirm the price so...STOP FLAKING OUT AND BUY if you said you were gonna buy!

Sorry guys but i tried calling today (friday) during my lunch break but all i got was a busy signal. I tried three (3) times during my hour lunch break.

 

It's extended through Monday so you can call then, but if we hit 10, then Monday will be the last day. So close I can almost feel my butt in them

 

I talked to Eric Friday and he could not help me pic colors even after I sent him pics of my interior. He is overnighting me swatches, I'll have them on Monday and will order just as soon as I get them and make a decision on the colors. Sorry but its like the other guy said I have tried to call several times and did not get Eric until Friday.....

I will order Monday for sure....as long as he does what he said he would do and that's overnight me the swatches.

 

If anybody has the 97 Sage Mist Green color with the funky interior that is a kinda blue green, and has ordered leather PLEASE tell me what you ordered...It will help me make my decison quicker!

I called yesterday (Friday) to make a slight adjustment to my order. Eric mentioned that I think we now have 9? people that called in so far. So we are VERY close. Hurry up and get in this guys! I'm sure it will be over by Monday, so call in!

FYI on the 02-03 Maxima, the lettering on the trunk is different than that on the 00-01's. The 02-03 is very similar to that of the 4th gens.

Yeah I kept the same colors. What I changed is the way I had it arranged. I originally had the Puddy for the whole center, from headrest down to the very bottom. I changed that to having Puddy for the flat perf. inserts only. I got Graphite stitching for the embroidery to match some of the black interior stuff. I figured that light colored stitching would be hard to keep clean.
So basically you and I will have the exact same interior, except maybe for the color of the stitching.

 

You won't believe this.....
Eric lost half the orders this weekend on a camping trip so 4 or 5 people have to reorder. When he gets to the office he's going to call me with those he has and everyone not on the list will have to reorder. Tell me that doesn't suck. I think we just made 10 too with EZEMaxima. I think it was the first 4-5 because mine was one of the ones lost.

Yeah, I'm ****ed too, big time.

I made the order today. I spoke with Eric and he told me that the leather interior kit we was getting was leather for the seating surfaces and the backsides and side bolster was vinyl. I made the upgrade for full leather for another $85, and smooth door insert for another extra $35 plus i got a wheelskin for $39.99 and $35 installation kit. Shipping was quoted at $65.

Now thats $578+$85+$35+$35+$65+40=$838. This should stop me from buying any mods until maybe when the CF hoods and/or projector lights come out.

 

Ahhh, the sides and back are vinyl? I sorta figured, but didn't think to ask. I wonder if anyone has had anything bad to say about it? Not that you sit on the backs or anything. I got the flat sides too. Losing those orders is bad news.... Trying to get the people to call back in may be a chore...

 

Whats this about vinyl? What parts EXACTLY are vinyl? Eric FINALLY got me the samples he promised me. Should have been here before 10 AM it didn't get here until almost closing time for them. I got the colors picked out, but now I want to know about the vinyl cr@p. The backs are OK but when you say bolsters, that is part of the seating area, or do you mean the sides, like from the bolster seam down....like the side of the seat? If you go to their website and look at the "patterns" page you are looking down on the seats, (all seating area) so everything you can see there is leather ......right?

 

Okay, it's all seating area is leather. What that means is that anything your body contacts with while seated is leather. And he said if you didn't know that the backing are vinyl, then it will be very had to tell because of the high quality vinyl that they use.

Still no call from Eric on the lost orders. I'm at the end of my patience with this whole deal. He has to tell me who ordered and then I have to post and hope those that were lost call in. This could be another long time to wait, and no telling who will want to drop out by the end. Saving 100 bucks is nice, but not at this pain threshold.

Yeah, I may call my order back in but I'm not spending my week trying to call people up. If we don't re-get 10 by Friday, I'm gonna get out while I still have my sanity. This bush league treatment with no apology isn't acceptable.

 

I ordered flat perforated seat inserts. So will the door panel inserts be flat as well? Or still gathered then? I really don't want to call them again...I've already called and had to place my order twice...
