Actually you told me you will post when you receive 5th gen VB cores, I was just wondering if you have received it yet, since it's been like 3 weeks. That's why I didn't call because I was thinking if you didn't post like you said you would, most likely I will get the same answer you gave me 2 weeks ago..so

 

Not yet on the 5th gens. Were trying really hard to get our hands on some. I've gotten a few requests for them.

2night my VB mod kicked in nice...

i whipped this 2k2 altima on my way home... i think was a 3.5 im not sure...had the rims and spoiler....

he was a car length ahead of me..rolling around 20-30 when i see him gun hit...i went after him...VB kicks in caught up to him ... flew by him..he was a door ahead of me till 60...then i rolled on him ...

took by a car length

he was like..u lucky u a 5 speed...
i was like...guess again ...

you'd know it was a 3.5 by the dual exhaust

 

couldnt tell @ that point i was past him

 

had to be a 3.5, unless it was a 2.5 with like a 100 shot

 

How long does it take to get VB Mods done??

 

I really want this mod done but i am concerned about if this works for 02 se. Also, i am hesitant because i really dont want to screw up my warranty. Does this in any way hurt or shorten the tranny life?? Is a torque converter necessary?? Any help with these questions would be appreciated.

 

I'm driving up to NY and getting this mod done as soon as I get my bonus from my job. I've only heard good things about the mod and I spoke with Jeff on the phone. I don't know him personally, but he sounds like a really good guy. He let me know what type of Tranny cooler I should get to go along with his mod as well as he was very honest with me as well about whether or not he would have another GD. Very upfront and professional about the time it would take to work on the car and I respect that. No double talk.

 

We will be running a GD in Feb. We have done many 02's with no problems to date. I will post another thread with the details on the GD.
BTW we have one fifth gen core.
I know some of you guys were asking about it.

How much would it cost to do the VB mod now? Just to have an idea how much it will cost, can you include the VB mode done by you and also the hayden tranny cooler installed?
