I would like to see the price come down a little bit more. Is there a way we can get the price to come down some more? If so, you can count me in.

Can you tell us if the Low Beam will be on the inside or outside of the dual housing?

Will the projects have a beam cut off? If so will the cut off be horizontal (S2000) or slightly at an angle (Integra)?

Here is an example of an s2000 Beam Pattern. Although this is not an s2000 the beam pattern is very similar.

I'd probably be interested for a set without the angel eyes. One piece would possibly be nicer, naturally, but at $500 the cost would be reasonable.

I agree with you on that, would be interested when I see some pics, I'm a big fan of improved lighting. Better lighting=better high speed night driving lol

Matt had promised pics for this past week so I wanted to give him until Friday before inquiring again. Well, I e-mailed him on Friday and he said that he was on a business trip this week. Umnitza should have a better idea this weekend. So we will see what comes out of this coming week.

I will comprize a list of interested buyers/confirmed buyers on the firsdt post of this thread, so that we can have a more concrete idea of how much leverage we have. As Matt indicated earlier they would like to have 100 interested buyers and at least 50 confirmed buyers. The gen 5 guys had 50 people pay all the money up front and then they got their projectors. I don't see that being a problem for the 4th gen guys... so hope I am not proven wrong here.

We're sorry, but the projector project is on hold.

There is simply too much demand for us to focus on it with our existing products.

If someone else wants to build a projector headlight, that's great, if they want the best "angel eyes" package, and want to integrate our product, so much the better

We apologize for the inconvenience.

I am still going to start a list of interested buyers, when a moderator can unlock post 1 for me to edit.

Matt from Umnitza indicated that it will be the new year before they can work on our project. Seriously guys, that is not bad at all... that's only a month and a half away!!! I will bet you anything that it would take more than 6 weeks just to get the 50 buyers that they are asking for! I don't know why everyone is freaking out like the world has come to an end!

The gen 5 guys had over 50 people that put money down up front, and I don't see that being a problem for the gen 4 guys. But it will take time to organize that, and by getting started now, we ensure that we are #1 on Umnitza's list in the new year. So the way I see it, let Umnitza get their other projects out of the way... and if we have our money ready for Jan 1 then they have no reason not to do our project first thing in the new year, with as many resources as they can.

I have already e-mailed a moderator to let me edit post 1 (it says something about not being able to edit since it has been over 1440 min. since I posted that message) and then I will go ahead as planned with the list of interested buyers.

keep in mind though that we always have "interested" buyers on here but when it comes time to put the money out on the table... 80% of the "interested" back out due to various excuses.....

Precisely. That is why I do not understand why some guys are making such a big fuss about this deal being delayed a few weeks. Like I said, I bet it will take longer than that just to weed out the guys who talk vs the guys who actually are willing to put their money down.

... still waiting for moderators to unlock post #1 for me to edit...

(off-topic) P.S. Thanks for the pic of the back of the deck... can you send me the larger pic? anish.ghosh@rogers.com - repost your other message in this thread please (moderator moved it to OT and I do not have access there).

Since I cannot edit post #1, I will compose the list of interested buyers right here... these are all the people who have posted interest. This is by no means the list of confirmed buyers but I hope to convert it to that and then submit it to Umnitza and let them work with that.

Remember, our condition is the same as the 5th gen guys had - at least 50 people confirmed (which means about 100 people who are interested). Let the list begin...

The only reason why that picture of the beam pattern that is "like" an S2000's has such a big cut off is because it has eyelids. That cuts the beam pattern

Read the rest of the thread. The 4th gen project has been put on hold until the new year. So there are no pics yet. Meanwhile we are trying to get 50-100 people committed - interested so that we can be ready first thing in the new year, money in hand, for them to work on this project.

It has been a month and we only have 26 people... so the delay really isn't a factor it seems.

I believe the delay is because people (including myself) are hesitant to commit or even show interest until pics are up. I am not trying to rush you mind you, just my opinion. If they look good I am on that list- but I have to see pics. That's a lot of money for a student!
