sylvania silverstars cheap!

Just wanted to let people on the org know about the cheap silverstars they have at Pep Boys. They put a coupon out in the sunday LA Times for a pair of bulbs for only $16.88. At first, I thought it would be too good to be true because I just bought them about a month ago for $20 a piece. I went today to check it out. They said the coupon was a typo, but they would still honor it. I guess I was the first to try to buy them. They said they will make a note that the coupon is not good for a pair, but per piece. I went ahead and picked up a pair for my wife's car since they didn't have the H3's I need in the fogs. To top it all off, sylvania has a $5 rebate if you buy a pair. If all goes well, I'll end up having paid only $11.88 for a pair of silverstars. Not to bad at all.

What's up with the smart @ss comment. I just thought I would let other org members know about this awesome deal. $11.88 for a pair of silverstars is better than any group deal available. If you don't like it, oh well. I don't need your useless comment though.

Sylvania silverstars cheap website coupon

Here is the link to the deal on their website. I found the special in the weekly circular section if this doesnt work. It is the 4th page of the main circular.

Got a great deal!

I went to the PepBoys website and printed out the page with the coupon, went to the store on Hollywood Blvd. (near Vine) and got the last 2 Sylvania Silverstar 9004ST they had on the shelf. I went to the counter, spoke with the manager, they rung them up at $54 then adjusted the price and I walked out paying $18 [U]and I will get the $5 rebate in the mail. I must say I am happy at the great deal. They look great too! Perfectly white, no blue tint, no orange tint, just bright white.

Blah, I went yesterday and they had a little note in the front desk saying it was a type and would not honor it.

you guys like these lights? I bought a pair over the weekend and I thought they still looked a little yellow.

If you like the output I guess that's what counts.

Later.

Typo or not the store store has to give it you at that price, its the law in almost every state.Once its on the news paper or any other form of advertised price they have to honer the price no matter if its a typo.

They are white, I can see no yellow. I compared one after putting it in against the normal halogen and It was deffinately whiter and slightly brighter. I wish they had more, I would have bought them and sold them to you all for a small profit!
