The NEW thread for Viper alarm GD!!!!!!!!!
For the alarm write-up:
The write-up is posted online, as you read above. The current version (as of this post) is 1.09. Except for replacement of a few pictures, I do not expect any changes. The write-up has been reviewed by a DEI certified installer, as well as another independent alarm installer.
Please read the text. It explains (in detail) what to do. The pictures alone WILL NOT suffice.
For the window modules:
The window modules require more work. You'll need some extra parts (38 male connectors and 38 female connectors), as well as about 20' of 4-conductor 18-gauge wire, 2 grommets, and some weatherproof sheathing (to slide over the wire).
You also have to run wires into each door in order for the one-touch to work correctly.

As for the manual bypass, wire it up just like you would the automatic (pin 44 at the ECU). If the car is in gear, it should not even activate the remote start. When you are testing this setup, please manually hold the clutch in. If the car starts, the car will jump unless the clutch is in.
Legal Disclaimer: Just like DEI, I'm not responsible for any damages incurred if you install this unit on a manual transmission. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the vehicle, vehicle parts, persons, or other objects directly related to this installation or use. This alarm was not designed to work with manual transmission vehicles. I have provided you information on how to modify the installation to allow functionality on a manual transmission car. I do not endorse, nor condone, use of this alarm on a manual transmission vehicle. Use at your own risk.

PS Everyone except my Canadians and Jeremy (due to special arrangement) should be getting theirs by tomorrow? Everyone, everything ok? Let me know, I've been tracking everyone's packages, but still, just chime in, let me know what you all think?
Thanks

I got one of mine in and finally got it installed. I never realized how much crap was under my dash with my old 800 ESP and the 551T remote start. I'm glad that the new alarm includes the smaller relay pack too. Oh, and the range with the new ones is rediculous when compared to my old one. I can start my car from inside my office (which is in the middle of my office building). The distance is through 2 internal walls, 1 external wall, and 100 ft or so to the parking spot. That's pretty darn good if you ask me.
As for the GD, I'm completely satisfied. I'm even more satisified that Alex has given us constant feedback each step of the way.
Thanks Alex.
P.S. FedEx is delivering on Friday, so get muh stuff shipped out Thursday so I have something to do this weekend :-) !!!

First off, all dealer cards need to come to me (so look on your box, and send them all back in directly to me), as I want to take them all, and bring them into the dealer at once, so he can mass deliver them. The dealer will send out confirmation cards to everyone as well.
In case you all didn't see, you should send the warranty cards to:
JGSites.com
P.O. Box 54478
Phoenix, AZ 85078
USA
Thanks everyone!
