I just mailed to the above address. If it still doesn't work, try to reply to the alternate email I supplied you. Sorry for all the trouble.

The 4th gen write-up is due around the middle of August. I've made arrangements to install one then. I'll post the write-up online once it is done.

im afriad studman will have to arrange another install. I was not able to bring my car to florida due to the hurricane (this was going on when i was about to leave from home) and therefore he wont be able to use me as a resource. I'm very sorry but stuff happens. I still would like to get a 4th gen writeup but i would also like to explain to everyone why this is taking so long.

Alarm install help

Hey. some guy in houston wants to charge me $150 for the install. I havent told him about the proximity sensor and the interior siren yet though. He just flat out told me $150, and i told him it was a viper. However, Im kinda scared, I want someone who knows what the hell they are doing... Maybe i can get him to hook up a switch to the prox. sensor because some other installer told me he wouldnt put one in bc it gets alot of false alarms... Everyone else is giving me $250 and $400 install estimates. How can i make sure this guy will do it right?

i roll my windows down a lot so almost once a day i find myself waiting for them to roll up before i open my door. for me personally i would just like to get out and press the arm button and have them roll up by themselves. just my reasoning.

$100 would be for 2 windows. The modules run anywhere from $40-70+ each, and you'll need 2 modules in order to do all 4 windows. And yes, I do have the modules installed in my car.

I'm still working on it. I did it when I did the install on the 2001, but some of the pictures didn't come out the way they should have. Unfortunately for me, my work is expanding our offices to take over the rest of our building, which means that my time is very tied up right now. I will promise to get the write-up online as soon as possible, but with Hurricane Charley doing it's deed and now Hurricane Frances is knocking on the door, I'm not sure when it'll get uploaded.

When you get the 530T modules installed, they will roll the windows up when the car arms.... I love that feature.

I was wondering if there is anyway that you can start up another deal like this one. I would be very happy if i could get this for the price that everyone paid. ill even be willing to play $20 more if need be. Thanks.
