Hello to everyone that have been confirmed CAI buyers. Just to keep you up to date I wanted to let you know of a temporary delay on the intakes. I just found out this evening that the shipping information that Cattman Performance (AZ) had sent to Place Racing (CA) was to be delivered early on Friday 11/12, but was not delivered until after they had closed, also it was left in a mail slot that is normally not used. The package with the info was found today, and Place Racing sent out as many orders as they could get out before they closed. The remainder will be shipped on Wed 11/17. I apologize for this inconvenience and have been assured that this will not happen again. The intakes will be delayed for about 2 business days due the the mishap. They should e-mail us and tell us when our order is shiped...since there not giving any tracking number with them, and now its delayed a couple days..

 

NismoMaximaGTR, If I Money Order mine tonight, will they ship it out Friday? If not, how many days do you think till I get it, cause Im leaving for Reno on Nov. 25. & nobody will be here to pick it up? I dont know how long till my Money Order gets to AZ, when I send it tonight (I live in SoCal). Is there anyway to have it shipped to like a UPS building where I can pick it up after I get back? I have been talking to Brian about the orders and the delay. This is just a simple mix-up. Not to step on Greg's toes, but all, please be patient. I know it is hard and that even I am a very impatient person.

I have NEVER had this kind of service from anywhere before. Normally you have a person that takes the calls and they have no idea what is going on in the company. Cattman is an exception! Cattman and crew have been nothing but superior in all their efforts to answer my most nominal questions! (even when I just want info and am not ordering) I work NASA's help desk and I know what customer service and patience means. (Those crazy rocket scientists!) If it was up to me Cattman would have a freaking gold medal for customer service!!!

So just sit back, relax, think about the intake and drink a beverage of your choice. It will be here soon enough.

If you sent the money order know, then it probably will not reach us until next week, so your CAI would be shipped with the next shipment which will be after Thanks giving. I work for UPS and know there is something called "Hold for pick-up. What you have to do is ship you package the Main UPS center in your area and when the pkg gets there, they will call you to pick it up. They only hold it for 5 Business days though. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

This is a very good deal Nismo, i can respect a good GD seeing how I have my own going. I'm most definutly in!!!! I'm placing my order tonight or tomorrow, but before i order I wanted to know if there was going to still be a $5 charge if we use our bank accounts thru paypal to pay you versus using a credit card. Get back to me ASAP to let me know.

I'm a bit confused. My girlfriend ordered the intake for me the other day. She received an e-mail invoice stating that the total for parts only was $170.00. If my math is correct, $129(intake)+$5(pay by credit card)+$25(spray)=$159.00. That total doesn't seem right. Also, she(Lori) said that my intake was going to ship tomorrow(11/18), but that the spray was not available right now. She(Lori) said that the spray was going to come in tomorrow(11/18). Can't they just hold off on shipping it until the spray is available? Then just put it in the box, so I don't have to pay shipping twice? Well, I left them a message, and I'll call back in the morning to try and get it straightened out. Even with this slight mix up, I'm still very stoked! Thanks, NismoMax!

 

the intake is coming from AZ, the spray is coming from CA. thats why they are being shipped seperatly.

 

how well do the pr cai work for the 02's compared to say berk or frankencar? i know its always best to use cold air and it seems like almost every 02 goes wit wai

To clarify the shipping locations. The CAI's are coming from CA and the spray from AZ.

 

Price for blue is $129.00 shipped. Add $5.00 if paying by Paypal or CC.

 

I have one on my Maxima with a vq30de engine and I had a WAI. The CAI was a way better improvement in horsepower and throttle response. I don't know from experience, but I heard the HP and Torque gains in your vq35de engine are greater than the gains in the vq30de which would be very significant and worth the $$.

yup, 3 inches. Think of the cup (hole) in golf. I believe that is 3 inches. Think about it. There is not going to be a 3" empty hole there. There will be something to occupy that space.

Thanks for all of your guys help in answering my questions. I was told that the intake was going to ship yesterday (thurs 11/18). It seems like it's probably going out today. That's cool. I can't wait 'til it get's here. Too bad they ran out of silver. I actually wanted silver first, then black. But since both of those are out, i just got one of the colored one's. Don't matter though, I'll just sand it down and paint it. I'm still unsure what color though. I was thinking white pearl like my car, or just metallic silver.......once again, any suggestions?
