Where is the write up for the 4th gen? I am having trouble finding the screen resolution, I am trying to compare it too a Addvision AV-7676 which are saposed to be the same as the Farenheit monitors... although it looks good regardless. $275 deal still good for combo? Thanks.

There is one person who is doing a 3 screen install on a 5th gen but I think it may be under wraps so I won't say who it is. (If you are reading this then feel free to chime in).

The monitor has a single video in using a standard RCA type video cable. The DVD player has two video inputs and one SVIDEO input as well.

So if your PC has either of those two types of video outputs then yes, you should be able to hook up a PC output to it.

Pioneer only has two, the DVH-P500MP and the DVH-P7000.

There are a multitude of other single DIN sized DVD players out there. Or you can use the Microvision DVD player, it is DIN sized and has on screen menus that you can use to play both MP3's, DVD's, VCD, CD etc etc.

Buy the combo for $275 shipped.

No FM/AM radio, just whatever media you can put on it via CD or DVD. It would be easy to add XM or Sirius via the audio input though.

On a 4th gen those are all the stock parts. The 4th gen dash and these Microvision screens happen to be just the right size for eachother.

cobymoby - How much longer are you going to be selling these monitors? I'm really interested in one, but I have no money for one right now. $180 shipped seems like a real cool price.

Aaron,

I will keep this going as long as possible, as long as my prices don't go up I will keep them the same.

Regards,
Bryan

PS - It's actually $175 shipped.

It won't be easy to install on a 5th gen like the 4th gen. There is one guy that is installing these on a 5th gen, you'll have to wait and see what he does first to see what the whole thing takes to install.

A 7" screen should fit the headrests, again, wait for the other person to finish his install, he's putting them in the headrest as well as the dash.

The stock deck can't control these.
