Sent you a PM with price and ordering info. A case will be plenty to do a complete flush. If you're just going to do a drain/refill 6 quarts will be more than sufficient for 1 time...but you might want to consider doing the drain/refill at least a couple times in relatively close succession to raise the concentration of synthetic fliud in the system. In any event, any extra fluid can be used in your power steering...it will also work great in that application.

Assuming the car is an automatic, you would use AMSOIL ATF...great stuff.

Ian,

Sorry for the delay; however, I work days and as of ~10 pm last night when I turned my computer off I had not received notification of payment from paypal.

I just placed your order and it will be shipped from the AMSOIL Product Center in Las Vegas. It's possible it will go out yet this afternoon, but more likely tomorrow. Transit time to southern CA is a couple days. So I estimate you will receive the oil either Friday or early next week.

AMSOIL/UPS will send me an e-mail notification when your oil is shipped. I will forward it to you, as I do with all my customers, as it will contain the UPS tracking number and scheduled delivery date...that way you'll know when to expect it.

Please let me know when your order arrives. In the unlikely event of a problem with it, please let me know as soon as possible and I will get it corrected for you. thx

Hey Ed,

Would one case of ATF be enough to do a full flush on my '91 300ZX? I called 3 local trans shops, and one said I'd need 17 quarts?!?

My application guide shows a total system capacity of a little over 8 quarts. That being the situation, a case of ATF would be more than enough to get a good flush. ed

AMSOIL vs OEM COMPARISON

DIRTY OEM FILTER
Note how there is no real 'gasket' around the sides.

NEW AMSOIL AIR FILTER

Note the significantly larger surface area and the thick, heavy-duty gasket around the sides. Make no mistake - this beauty fits in there SNUG.

In addition to the large capacity, the AMSOIL filter technology with nanofibers is extremely efficient; it has the excellent air flow characteristics of a cotton gauze filter; it is easily cleanable with a vacuum cleaner or low pressure compressed air; it requires no special cleaning kits or oil, so it won't harm MAF sensors; and it is guaranteed for 4 years/100,000 miles of use with annual/25K mi cleaning. I can save our members over $8.00 on these filters...At $26, plus tax and shipping, these filters are definitely a good value. I have sold a lot of these filters both to our members and to those on a Titan site.

AMSOIL also offers the same filter for air induction systems (cone-type). These are a direct replacement for K&N, S&B, Green, AIRAID, AFE, TrueFlow and others. I have also sold a lot of these and people are very happy with them.

Sent you a PM with the cost and ordering information. MTG is only available in quarts (and 5 gal and 55 gal sizes), but the AGL is available in gallons and that will save you $1.20.

This post has been revised/superceded and prices updated. Please refer to http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=480065 for the most current pricing and information.

Pls let me know if I can help. thx
