That is a good link on how to change your fog light bulb on an 01 Maxima. The only difference is you will have to swap out the o-ring on your old halogen bulb with your new xenon bulb. That is the only real difference.

Sorry, it is not. We can do 8000k or 10000k if you want.

If you are talking about buffing your foglights to make them look new again, I've done it before and used the instructions here

2002 HID Fog light install questions

I was attempting to install my HID fogs when I ran into a problem or 3

1. I was sent larger H3 bulbs instead of the smaller H3c bulbs I ordered.
2. I am confused about the light blue and black wires? What do the plug into?
3. How do you remove the OEM grommet thing and install it on the HID fog light wiring?

Thanks for your help.

*** these guys are amazing! *** They even responded over the weekend with instructions and will sending the H3c bulbs.

Not without slight modification to your fog light housing.

I have a 2004 Maxima with halogens..I want to upgrade to HID

What do I need to buy from you? Are the fog lights in the same housing? How much more does it cost to upgrade them as well?

Thanks

There is no light output difference between the H3 and the H3c, but there are more color options with the H3

They use a 9012 bulb (9006) As for the fog lights, they use an H3c hid kit.
The price for each kit is $130 shipped. So your total would come to $260 shipped for two kits. I sent you a PM as well

I retrofitted some IS300 fog projectors into the stock 4th gen fogs. I left the yellow film on the lense. I want the deepest and brightest yellow possible. What kit color would you recommend?

You would then want our Custom Color Yellow, it would be extremely deep yellow. On top of that, all of our custom colors start off as 4300k, so you get the same light output as a 4300k bulb.

Okay, the bulb that is in the projector is a 9006. Is it possible to run the 9005 since it has ~10 watts more power? or would the focal point be off since the fog projector is made for 9006? also, are the nubs the same 9005 vs. 9006?

If you really wanted to, you could fit it in, but it might be off a bit. As the nubs of the 9006 and 9005 are similar but smaller. So it might cause the bulb to sit at an angle and produce less light. Using just the 9006 HID bulb will be more than sufficient.

I do not have a picture of the actual bulb, but I do have a picture of what color is emitted.

You have the option of going to our website or going directly through Paypal. I sent you a PM about how to do it through Paypal if you wish to do it that way.

As long as your 1999 Chevy Eldorado uses replaceable halogen bulbs, then you do indeed use a 9006.

Are the HID bulbs and connectors the same size as the regular halogen ones?
