That's right guys.... The time has finally come!
I have the honor of being able to offer the first group deal for Truax Motorsports.

There is no stage 1, 2, or 3.
This group deal includes the complete package, cross bracing and center support.
For this first run, there will only be 25 available.
They will be sold in lots of 10 at an introductory rate of $265.00+ $35.00 shipping.

I will be starting a list on a first come first serve basis... No PM's to get dibs.
I will add your name to the list.

If you have any questions please PM me... If you have any questions about what SFC's are/do, what it takes to install them, or anything like that, please direct them to this thread.
Please, do NOT post if you have anything negative to say.
I want to keep this thread as on topic as possible.

Again, there are only 25 available for this first run, and once the list reaches 10 people payment will be accepted at that point. After the first 10 sets have been shipped, the next 10 people in line will send payment and their sets will be shipped.

Please allow a MAXIMUM of ten days to ship. They will be shipped as fast as possible, but we just want to make sure that everyone is informed before hand in case it takes a couple of extra days to get everything together.
They will be shipped via Fedex and a tracking number will be supplied as soon as your set is shipped.
When you send your payment, you must include your COMPLETE address and telephone number.

For this group buy, paypal is the only method accepted. Please include the 3% paypal fees.

Do not post saying you want to be added to the list if you don't plan on purchasing a set.

Lastly, if you have ANY questions regarding this group buy, please PM me and I will answer your question as soon as possible!

Let the list begin!

Sorry, I should have clarified better.
In the past, SFC's were sold in stages.
Stage one just being the main bars, stage two included the center support, and stage three included the cross bracing.

With these, there is no staging. Everything is included as one purchase.
For pictures check out this thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=516058&page=2

Also, for a full review on these:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=517734

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks,

Mike

"Hello Org. members:

We are Truax Motorsports. Our company was recently formed but we are not new to the welding, fabrication, machining world. Combined we have over 30 years experience making, marketing and selling quality products.
We know many here are interested in our subframe connectors as evidenced by the thread that has over 1600 reads. We are awed and inspired. Thanks so much for all your interest and emails.

We are proud to announce our first group buy for the 4th Generation Maxima Subframe connectors. In the past they have been offered in various stages. Our feelings are: either you have SFCs or you don’t. All of our sets will include the total package. You will get the front to back 1”X 2” rectangular rails, with extra strong side to side bracing, combined with X bracing. Each set will come primed and ready for application of your desired colored paint or ready to spray with undercoating. Sean has taken care in his design to allow for the minor variation from car to car, so this means you will have to drill the holes in the tabs that we have welded in position. This way each set will be custom fit for your car.

You will also notice our cross piece has the ability to be adjusted so if you have any clearance issues with the exhaust, you can lower it just by adding several washers. This is the typical spot where fitment has been an issue."

The 5th gen sets will be available VERY soon.
I am actually going to be the test fit car for them, and my set got shipped out today!
Trust me, as soon as they're ready, a group buy will be posted for them!

The list has been updated.
Thanks guys!

Please convince them to make a "stage 1" available. I'm not interested in cross-bracing at all, honestly. That, and cross-bracing is not legal in SM class autocross - only longitudinal rails.

I personally have no interest in paying an extra $100 for something I'm not going to use....

Our feelings are: either you have SFCs or you don’t
There are tons of "stage 1" frame rail SFCs out there for other cars......

Can we get a 4th gen without the x-brace? I'm in Canada, so with the exchange rate (assuming you'd ship up here), it may be too costly for the whole kit.

The rails that the "connectors" bolt to must be welded to the frame (unibody).

The 6th gen won't benefit as much because it already has a fairly stiff chassis.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that there is no plans to produce these for an A34 anytime in the near future.

BUMP IT UP.

After all these years and only three people so far???

Hey, I'm definitely IN for 5th gen (put me on the list!) IF they can be had in stage 1 only. You know I won't back out.

I think you'll get alot more response once this GD is combined with the 5th gen SFCs, since there are quite a few 5th genners that have wanted them for some time, as you know!

We ought to be able to get 10 people in the next two weeks or so, but SFCs are't that well known in on the Org, so I think some advertising or something is in order... We should post in all the threads in the 4th gen forum asking for suspension advice with a link to this thread.

Just curious but how many spots have to be welded? Im just trying to figure out how much it is going to cost me to get these welded on. Im sure any exhaust shop can weld these on pretty cheap.

Im pretty sure I am down for a set.

This is how we separate the men from the boys.

I'm sure once the word gets out...and/or tax returns roll in, more people will sign up.

How much does this SFC system weigh?

How does it compare/differ to Blemco's Stage 2 LTB? Are we talking apples and oranges? Different objectives? Somebody school me.

The LTB ties the control arms together in the front of the car. They help the wheels to stay planted more by assisting in transferring weight. ( good description guys?)

SFC's make the actual Chassis of the car stiffer. With a stiffer chassis it will allow everything else on the car to do it's job better (suspension, steering, brakes, etc.) It will also make the car more rigid, which will result in a smoother ride, as well as cut down or completely eliminate a lot of rattles and frame noises etc...

The SFC's only have to be welded in a couple of spots.
You're only looking to spend between 60-120 do have someone weld them on.
IMO, SFC's are one of the single best "mods" available for our cars.
I would put SFC's on a car before coilovers or any kind of suspension kit for that matter.

These particular SFC's only weigh around 50 lbs.
Which, if you have aftermarket exhaust, coilovers, wheels, etc. you're probably going to end up somewhere around the same weight the car was in stock form.

I can't stress enough how much SFC's really do for maximas... As I said before, if these were available when I had any of my three maximas, I would have easily spent $500.00 on them way before I put money into any other mod.... Also, just to fill you in, i'm not making any money by running this group deal, so don't think i'm just trying to sell you guys on something...
I just know how awesome SFC's actually are, and i've been waiting so long for them, I want everyone to have a set!

Mxrider52- Let me know for sure if you want to be added to the list.

Irish- I'll call Dan tomorrow and see if we can get a couple of just stage I's.

Thanks guys!

Mike

I'll second everything Mike just said. I'm first on the list because everything I've read suggests that subframe connectors are the single best mod for a 4th gen Maxima, bar none (and I've read a lot). It will make a large and noticeable difference whether you're driving around town or carving around the curves at high speeds.

SFCs

For you guys that do not want the cross bracing system; Mike, Sean and I decided that the best way to deal with this is not to includse them in the group buy. Just email us at Truaxmotorsports@gmail.com and we will process your order. $200 + $30 shipping, add the 3% for paypal and your total cost will be $236.90 We had thought that with the price drop for the group buy, few if any would be interested in just having the front to back rail bracing. These will have the tabs welded in position just in case you want to upgrade later.
Sean told me today that keeping up with the demand should not be much of an issue, so expect your group buy sets to ship pretty quick. We will be shipping in batches of 10, as previously posted.
Thanks for all your interest.

Dan

bump for a good mod. I saw a set of these in action today.. helped keep that car planted firmly and REALLY stuck around the turns.. I was laughing because I was so impressed.. the car had coilovers and an STB also, for the record.

The $200.00 price is for just the side rails...
Please read what Dan said.
