Yep, but it's not cheap after the shipping costs. I bought an extra cover for Redmax since I already have an order placed

Hype is correct

It isn't cheap with your ordering the cover by itself. But, I finally posted prices for the VI with the cover and the cover by itself. The one thing about getting the cover without the VI is the cover was created to go with the VI. So, that the VI looks like it is really smoothe. If you bought the cover the cover would go up to where the VI would be and then you would just have a whole. Personally I think it would look wierd.

Nope this is still going. This actually won't end. Until no one else wants to buy one. And I think when more people get the VI in more people will by the VI. So, shoot me an email if your interested.

Haven't heard anything yet but he is normally right on time, and he normally ships it out 1-2 days after he gets the orders so I'm guessing because of the number of orders I should be hearing something back today on the order. But, I'll keep you all posted.

Giving everybody the heads up.

There isn't a group deal needed at all for this part...so when your ready to order just drop me an email, and I'll get the order in and you'll have your part in about 4-7 weeks.

The one thing is the price is subject to change just on the fact of exchange rate...so you might even get it cheaper if the dollar is worth more that 125.5 yen...but currently the dollar is worth 123.5 yen....so just be wear that you might be looking at a 5-25 dollar diffence in price when ordering depending on the exchange rate.

It is a variable Volume intake. It shortins the runners so you you are able to produce more torque and horse power at hight RPMs.

First off you are a newbie and don't forget it!!! After spending some time on this forum you'll see that there are some hang ups with the search function. You can't search for terms that are too short. So when I tried to search this is what came up on the search page

////The search term you specified (vi) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. ///

Search aint' perfect and you're right there are alot of Search ***** out there that give you a hard time for asking stupid questions. This was not a stupid question!!! It's not everyday there's a post about a (VI) Variable Volume Intake. There however, a post everyday about "Which Y PIPE is the best?"
Keep posting and you'll get up there in numbers. It doesn't take very long. If you post too much then you'll quickly find out what a post ***** is.
Peace

Didn't mean to offend ya dude, I guess you don't get a lot of time to read up on stuff like this. I don't even have a job right now, so all I do is read up on this stuff , and this variable intake has been a huge thing around here for a while. I definetely don't wanna reach post ***** status, and I think I'm doing a good job... I don't even have 20 posts since I joined. Ahh well.. anyways... this variable intake sounds really awesome. Two of my buddies have theirs on the way from Mr.Cranman and they can't wait. As soon as I get the money together I am all over one of them too.

Hey man no worries. I hoped the smilies in my post gave you the impression that I wasn't offended. good luck. This Variable Intake mod sounds cool. Take it easy.

bump for cranman

hi all,

Just wanted to recommend Mr. Cranman.

I ordered some missing parts to my me vi (which I bought
from another seller here, argh!) and it came in perfect
condition, packaged and wrapped carefully. In comparison,
that parts that came from the middle east was not wrapped
well and had dings...

Anyways, bump for Mr. Cranman, and bump for his Japanese supplier...

thanks,
rob

ps. I delayed putting it on because of school, and now
I'm just working hard, but I did put the electronics/plumbing
on (backwards in order I know, but I'm better at electronics)...

Quick question John!

Where do you guys hooked up the Harlan switch. I
am refering to the signal that is connected to the
rpm side.

I have read post that refers to #1 coil. What
wire exactly was used. I am assuming that one
would have to splice the coil pack.

Thanks.....

I tapped the coil under the plastic engine cover at the center of the three front coils (I know it's not coil 1). Pull back the plastic cover on the coil wires and tap into the colored wire with a stripe. There should be 3 wires: Red with a stripe (12v), Black with a stripe (ground), and another colored wire (I don't remember the color and it may vary by year). I got this info from other threads on the board if you want to search, but regardless of year the non red/black wire is the one you want.
You could also tap ECU pin number 5 or tap behind the gauge cluster if you prefer. That didn't work for me though.

about the stupid question

i thought v1 was the radar detector. so the question was a great question for those of us who don't keep up with all the different mods. i was saying to myself, that's alot of money for a radar detector.

I don't have any personally. But, I can order them for you it will take about 4-6 weeks to get it though from when you send the money. The only thing is that the exchange rate is going to crap. So, your looking at a little high rate to purchase the part.

It just includes all the parts for the VI you need. You need to purchase the RPM switch, the vacuum canister and the dawes device (Map/baro) switch. Hope that helps
