Yellowing/Discoloration
Yellowing occurs with a combination of extended nighttime driving, acid rain, and possibly condensation. It mostly occurs on the inside of the lens but can also be found on the outside. The hard plastic used for the lens is susceptible to high heat, and yellowing is a side effect of that.

Found this on Coolcats.net

Any reason why only the US I30's suffer this discolouration?

Yeah, I can tell you that Ford headlights are horrible for this. Of course Lincoln and Mercury are Ford as well, so they have horrible problems with yellowing headlights. You would think that a luxery car company would take care of things like this before selling the car. You drop a lot of money on a car and you expect no problems! Especially stupid things like this ya know?

Oh well...

On the Euro-Max the lenses are made of real glass.... problem solved... or actually: there never was a problem

Maybe the lenses on the Australasian Maxima's are also made of glass, because mine are still crystal clear after 7 years.

This one looks like it is more for foggy headlamps.

This site looks the closest to what your looking for.

I'll be back with more sites if I can find them. Hope this helps.
