100 watt Fog lights
100 watt Fog lights
Can I use 100 watt H3 foglights, or do i have to use the 55 watt version? Will the 100's **** up my wiring, or burn something, or kill my fuse, or should i just stick with the 55 w super brights I say the other day.
I tried this once and being the paranoid person I am, I took them out and put 55 watt back in because I was worried that the light housing was going to burn. When I had the 100 Watt in and touched the lense, it seemed really hot.
I would like to know this answer as well.

Hadlight bulb
Since we are talking about bulbs. Can you put 100W H4 in the cefiros?
Will it **** the housing? or should just stick with 55W Ultra Whites.
My cefiros came w/ 100 but one of them burned. They lit up the hole block
Thanks

well, my fogs are rewired yet, and I dont even run them everynight, but a friend of mine changed his fogs from 55 to 100, and the difference was super clear. I just dont wanna have to change the whole unit out if itz gonna mess up everything.
100w bulbs will heat up the plastic housing of the fog lights....and when you hit a puddle and it splashes on the fog lights the lens will crack. Happens to guys all the time.

Over the years I have heard of many guys cracking their fogs because of too high wattage of bulbs.
