Wow... Very pretty... Personally, I'd drop it and put on bigger rims but beautiful none the less.

I've had it for a little while, but I just got the mother of all polishers - a Porter/Cable Model 7424 - and decided to put it to use this weekend.

I see what you're saying about a drop and larger wheels, KNYFE, but I think it looks great the way it is. Plus, the thousands it would take to do that will instead go to moving away from the Hell Hole known as Dallas, and getting a house wherever we end up.

That's impressive. I thought I detailed my car. Hand waxing just doesn't do it the justice that machines do.
Send me the porter and when I'm done I'll send it back, lol.

That looks AWESOME. I can't wait to get mine detailed (though I doubt it could ever look like that...)

Thanks for the compliments, guys. The P/C (as this polisher is called by detailers) really makes a difference. I mean, hand-waxing has its place in the arsenal of car care methods, but the P/C is a few steps above hand waxing with regard to the amount of time it takes to polish/wax, the consistency with which you're able to do it, and the effort used to complete the job. Many people (and I'm one of them) think the P/C is a necessary part of any car care kit.

Miles and miles of urban sprawl. You have to drive forever to get anywhere and when you do, it's through nothing but steel, asphalt, and concrete. Incredible traffic problems. The summer heat is just brutal. A city government rife with problems stemming from racial tension and general incompetence. Unless you like eating out or shopping, there's nothing to do. The people are unfriendly, guarded, conceited, and inconsiderate.

I would recommend Dallas only to my worst enemy.

I can't wait until November 28th, because that's the day I pick up the rental truck to get the hell out of here. Nashville, TN here I come!

Sounds like just like Denver, except for the racial tension... pretty homogeneous around here. The city is farily ugly surrounded by old slaughter houses and factories from the industrial era. Incredible traffic problems, searing summer heat, and **** roads. Luckly, I live and go to school in the suburb of Boulder, but I still avoid the heart of Denver like the plauge...
