When the dealer told us about that option she said it was for the seats AND mirrors, but I think that's only on the G35's or something, cuz it definitly doesn't work on our mirrors.

i think you just have to push the button (1 or 2)... and make sure you have the switch on the left side below the steering wheel on

i think you have to do it when the key in the ignition is turned to accessory, before you start the car.

1. Make sure your exit assist button in on automatic (you'll be sure if the driver's side seat slides all the way back when you open the door to get out of the car).

2. Position your seat and mirrors where you want them for the first preset.

3. Press and hold the set button until it blinks.

4. Press the #1 button until it blinks and your position is set.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 for the second preset.

The memory mirrors are on the 2004 model but they aren't on the 2002. I don't know about 2003. One thing to note is that whenever your exit assist button is turned off your memory seat function won't work. I've always set it while in the car was running and in Park. But it may work with the key turned to accessory like speye022 said.

I have been searching for this information for ever. Just picked up an 03 I35 and could not get the memory settings too work. Once I turned on the exit assist, bingo worked perfect. Love this forum. Thanks
