Rough drive after coil / plugs replacement

Hi all,

I changed all 6 ignition coils and spark plugs for my 2000 I30t. Purchased the parts from http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/ and had them replaced at Infiniti dealer. All codes are gone and my car passed the emmision control.

Problem is when I start the car and start driving. It is struggling as if getting choked and after a while runs well. When I try to speed up the RPM goes up high and speed remains the same. Wondering what the problem may be. Never had this problem with my original coils and spark plugs.

Should I take it back to the dealer for a test drive and question them on the installation of the coils and spark plugs.

Please suggest.

Thanks

Mohiudr

Check the Coil's part number since your car is made in 2000...

Probably you've got the wrong coils

Has the idle speed been adjusted to spec? Sounds like a bad MAF to me.

^^^

If you haven't replaced the MAF... you should. I have a 2000 base model and jsut replaced coils and plugs. Still had a little hesistation @ cold starts. Replaced the MAF and fixed the problem. As you can read on the forums, the MAF on these cars is notorious for going out. Best of luck!
