hid kit question?

I have a phillips hid kit and my passenger side light does not go on so investigated and found water in the fatory headlight harness where it goes to the hid harness. I dryed it and still doesnt work so i checked the relay and it was fine,i also checked all fuses and they were fine. What do you think happened or shorted?? thanks

I don't know about the HID part, But make sure you put a bead of clear Silicone sealant across the top of the headlight (where the seam is) or it will just fill back up with water.

Start swapping parts around to the side that does work to isolate the problem. (i.e. swap the bulb, then swap the ballast, etc. until you can determine what is and what isn't working).

Yeah seal it up man. Water is bad if your hid aren't waterproof. I got my plug and play from here and didn't have to deal with relays and extra harnesses.
