I35 2003 question

Hi guys I own a 2008 maxima so I'm usually on the 6th gen section but my Gpa is talking about giving me a 2003 Infinti i35 with only 15k miles on the engine, I'm thinking about giving it to my gf since her 2000 maxima SE is about to hit 210k miles and is on it's last limb. Tell me what's so nice about this Infinti and dose this car compare to a maxima? Thank you

All depends on the model, but these are some of the best features to me over a 2k max

-heated front AND rear seats (depending on model)
-rear sunshade
-3.5L V6
-Heated steering wheel
-6 disc in dash CD changer
-Navi (though no new discs since '05, but the screen coming up outta the dash is sexy)
-woodgrain trim (depending on model, it may go partly or completely down the center console)
-sport shift
-17 inch alloys
-HID (though the SE Max may have them)
-leather (though her max may have that already too
-rear headrests (if you really care, lol)

That's about all I can think of that makes it stand out. The Bose is decent, but I would change out the sub at the least if you're on a budget like me

^^ what he said.

This is an excellent upgrade from a 2k max.. the I35 is the luxury version of the Maxima.. hince the woodgrain, rear sunshade and its just as powerful as they share the same engine.. your g/f will luv it!

oh and my personal selling points were the HID lights, rear sunshade and having the windows roll down using the keyless entry transmitter!!!!

actually, the I35 has the 3.5 engine, the 2K max has the 3.0. Not to mention, is it free? You're asking about replacing a car with 210K miles with a 15K mile car?

If you like creature comforts, you will like the Infiniti a lot more then the Maxima

Dose the Infinti have a better suspension then the maxima? Or do you mean like the comfort is way more superior then the max? My next car will be a pre owned Nissan GTR or a G37S

As far as I know, suspension is exactly the same. Infiniti looks a lot better though

Does the whole car only have 15k on it? If so, (or even if not, for that matter), what are you even asking about? It's free!
I'm sure you'll love the car, as I do mine.

I have an 03 i35. Brakes were bigger and so are it's anti sway bars. I believe it's handling to be more crisp. The seats are sojourners leather aswell, which makes for softer leather. It will need conditioning more often. Front windows including sunroof are auto open close via 1 touch. And whoever said inifiniti is an addictive car is so right. I really love my I35. How many miles on the car you will be getting. I read the engine only had 15k. It's free, So take it. You won't regret it. Not to mention your girlfriend may do things to you that will blow your fragile little mind.lol just kidding. Not

Thanks for all the input guys. I hope I don't fall for the Infinti brand my self ( which I know I will) bc it will bleed my pockets dry but I know it's worth it in the end. I will convert to a new infiniti after I'm done with this 08 max with 41k on it of now. I will see you guys in the future when I convert. Lol later guys

Why are u done with the 08 maxima? Do you not like the car? 03 "04 max was the best years for the maximas

Although the car is nice I'm not a fan of the transmission. I hope Infinti dosent use CVT transmissions
