2000 I30 exhaust question
Hi guys,
I have just purchaced an 2000 I30 here in Australia and have been trying to find out some info on the exhaust set up.
The car is currently untouched and standard. I was wondering if this model has one or two "pre cats"......
I can easily see the front precat, but on inspection it almost looks as though there is not a rear one in the same location on the rear manifold? Problem is it is quite hard to see the rear mainifold due to lack of space.....
Can anyone clarify for me how many cats there are in total? ? Cheers

have since worked it out myself..... It turns out thye rear pre cat is loctaed further down the y pip as opposed to being located directly under the manifold like the front one. Not sure if that is the same as the american versions or not ?
Is it ok to gut one cat at a time. Will it harm the car if i do one then do the next one the following weekend?
If its ok, should i be doing one before the other!
Cheers
