Radiator replacement - 2001 Infiniti i30

I'm replacing the radiator of my 2001 Infiniti i30. I have the Haynes manual for Maximas, but if anyone has specifically worked on the i30 and is aware of any specific challenges with the Infiniti, I'd be grateful for the information. A write up with pics would be especially helpful, as I consider myself mechanically challenged, but any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
Patrick

Had mine replaced at a shop I use, because I was short on time. Take your time and go step by step. Something I recommended on here before was to replace the top radiator support bushings, as I feel ours cracked due to excess play back and forth in the radiator.

Replacing the radiator is reasonably straight forward, no hidden surprises. The automatic transmission cooler lines will drip out a little bit of oil, so be ready for that.

Besides replacing the upper radiator bushings as Infi30t advised, I found the lower bushings to be in much worse condition on my car.

Part numbers:
upper - 21506-51E00
lower - 21507-51Y10

I did mine with this sequence: drain, replace, flush, drain, refill.

I think I should: flush, drain, replace, refill.

If I would've seen my bottom ones, I probably would've replaced them. I just figured since it cracked at the top in an odd location, I was better off with the tops than doing nothing, ya know. Good to know the lower part #. I'll have to save this thread for that.

I wasn't going to replace my upper ones originally, they didn't seem all that bad. But when I removed the old radiator and saw the bottom ones, well, a 2 hour job took almost a day because I had to go get the bushings or insulators or whatever they are called.
