What's up... I just bought a 99 I30 limited with 206 on the dash. It's mainly hwy miles, I'm considering doing the water pump, timing Tensioner etc... What other things should I do as maintenance to hopefully get 500k out this car? It will be for my wife and where selling her 97 Max. Thanks for all advice be safe members...!

Also guys this is a 99 limited... Whats different or special about these compared to a regular 99 I30. Did they come with any extra features from the factory? These are the issues it has:
Abs light is on
A/c doesn't work
Minor oil leak
Water pump leaking but not running hot...

This interested me and I did some searching. I could only find reference to 2 models. One place would call them base model and touring model while another place would call them Limited and Touring. I couldn't find anything to confirm that the base model and the Limited model are the same thing, so I can't say for sure.
The base/Limited model came with an auto trans and cloth interior. The touring model came with a 5 speed as standard, auto trans as an option and leather interior.
The differences then became that the touring model included more things standard where the base/limited model offered them as optional.
I saved the info in a Microsoft word file. If you want it, I'll e-mail it to you if you pm me with your e-mail address.

The Limited trim was added for model year 1999 and IIRC it slotted between the Base model & Touring model. I'm not entirely sure what features the Touring model offered over the Limited other than the rear spoiler. The Limited trim was also available in two tone paint.
