Key fob

Does anyone know a key fob that will work with a 2000 infiniti I30? I just bought it and it only came with 1 key and no fob. It sucks because I have to unlock it from the driver side door every time

umm, that would be related to that module that controls the whole system, from my experience on these you have 2 common versions, on the fob itself it will either be written FCC ID KBRASTU10 or something, that it the most likely one, there is another NHVWBU4 or something they both look identical except for those IDs so you have to watch out they are not compatible, there are other versions as well, again, look identical but will not work.
It does not matter if it is written Nissan or Infiniti on it, what's important is the ID
I would go to a junk yard and try to look for one of those for cheap, they usually don't break that easy, it can be off any Nissan/Infiniti of that era
Then once you got it, replace the battery immediately and then program it for that module to accept it, then you should be good to go
I do not recommend buying a new one as they are junk and will likely not work, also do not install any aftermarket remote system, use only original equipment
