Not from NJ it isn't.

Holland and Lincoln tunnels are free coming into NJ, $8 coming into NY. GWB is cheaper, maybe $4?

Have spent easily $20 in one day on tolls in NY between the Verrazano, Triboro and a couple other bridges. Thanks NY.

When the Majority of any major city or state are run by Democrats, 3 things are certain. High Cost of Living, Taxes, and the rest is Subsidized by the first 2!!!

And when the majority of any major city or state are run by Republicans, 3 things are certain. Low standard of living, low education, and court dockets filled because of the first 2.

See that? We can both generalize.

So again you subsidize the first 2 and ease the laws for that last. Great Plan!!!

I'm not going to get into it, man. You said something politically flippant, and I returned the same. A 1-2 punch of awkward humor. Let's just leave it at that before we get slapped for being OT.

I'm sure it will be easier to find you than the other way around... it's not like your car is particularly inconspicuous.

Also, I'm hesitant to ask this, but... will there be name tags after registering? I've met zero people face-2-face from the Org, and it would probably be easier to approach members if we know who they are. I'm thinking, Real Name, Member Name, year or gen.

Do we really have a roll call list, of sorts? Or are we shooting in the dark and pissing in the wind? Maxus 09 was what? 149 cars?

I don't know about pissing in the wind... that's an odd thing.

But the roll call list is a neat idea. A single source for intended attendance. I've thought about making a personal list of members I want to look up, and a roll call would help with that.

And what about tags? Tags would be helpful breaking the ice between strangers.

I think they had a few nametags last time... basic stick-on labels where you wrote your real name and your username in sharpie.

The more I think about this... yeah, that's about all that could be reasonably expected without lots of effort and some expense.

Maybe I'll make up my own tag!

Now if I could just figure out how to do that and not look super geeky.

I think it would be nice to have name, forum name, as well as the actual forum you hang out at most often since we've probably got a good 4-5 forums being represented at maxus....

Couple people also had mod lists printed out and stuck in their windshields, so I doubt you'll be the only one who went overboard in preparation.

I see a stock 5.5 TE, I know who it is.

I'm seeing all these people at the Olympics on TV with big laminated passes hanging around their necks with lanyards. Or here's another idea: have a T-Shirt made up that's not too loud.

It's so-o-o hard to think about this idea in a way that isn't geeky. But then again, we're all Maxima Geeks anyway, so maybe whatever anyone does gets a free pass.

Maybe it will be like a Star Trek convention, and all the really cool Org members will be dressed as Klingons. (kidding... just kidding.)
