I've been waiting for more than a month to get my 3M Clearmask or Permashield installed. Yep, is on the car. It looks good compare to regular car bra. (chips and Bugs protection).
Just a friendly reminder, installation is a pain (according to Mark at Wislow's Trim, Garland, TX.) It took them 1.5 days to get it on my car.

Let me know if you guys need anymore information.

How much was the 3m clearmask? I just had a clear bra put on my car, took them about 45 minutes to put it on. It cost about 275$.

The full bumper and hood kit cost me $200 and the installation cost me $100. I will try to get the picture on the web. Call James Sealy at http://www.clearmask.com.
Any other questions, drop me a line..

thank you

how is any different than the premium coating from dealer

When i bought the car- I got the platinum warranty and they had to put a coating on it- for protection of the paint.
Think it took like 2 days?

So what is the difference?

I believe your paint protection is the clear coat that the delaer applied to protect the paint from UV radiation and etc, but it doesn't protect your car from flying debris like chips and bugs. Especially if you drive on the highway most of the time.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

thank you

I have my kit but I have not installed it yet. I will try to install it myself, the video makes it look pretty straight forward, and I have the patience to give it a shot. The 3M deal from Jim Sealy was the way to go!
