what are you painting your headliner with? I tried it on my 92 when I changed colors and it didnt turn out too well so I just re covered them in charcoal tweed instead. I would get headliner material in the color you want and put it on. Its real easy to do just get some good spray on glue.

as far as taking the shade out...I just bent mine down in the middle enough to pull it out. I thought I was going to break it or warp it but I was able to get it out and put it back in that way. I had to push in the middle after getting it back in to make if form correctly.

Thats what I used too. after it dried oever a couple days and soaked in it looked bad...I was trying to go from tan to black though so thats probably the problem...I like my tweed better anyway...I know its not most peoples choice but to me it looks very nice.

why not take out hte headliner to do it? probably as much work and you dont have to worry about masking stuff off. then the vvent shade will be a breeze. btw, jay there is a show at suny stony brook on the 27th from 3-6, are you down to go?

yeah Ive been trying to go for the last to years but my car was always in the shop at the time, Im probably bringing a few other cars from my club too.

btw the headliner is coming out pretty good, Ive been brushing the paint with a brush after I spray it on so I think that helps, when I re-do the whole interior Ill just get it wraped with vinyl or something.
