I just discovered a puddle of oil when i pulled out of my garage. I know it came from the car. Is this a bad sign? Is there a leak somewhere? Is it effecting my performance?milage? what would i need to do to fix it? How much would it cost? Thanks A LOT...

 

If you can, get under your car..check to see where the oil is coming from. You might have a bad gasket, or loose drain plug. Aslo, have you bottomed out recently? That could have something to do with it. If you see where the oil is coming from, take it to a shop and have them check it out. As far as affecting your mileage or performance, you shouldn't have any problems, just make sure you check your oil level every day for a week, then if you don't have it fixed by then, check weekly.
