Trick in Tightening Belt
1st time ever doing will hopefully be tomorrow...I finally started the install this afternoon but it was late and ran outa light. I will be picking up in the am and wanted to know that Trick on Tightening the belt on the the V1 kit ??
I have everything set now for the blower to be put on, (the water pump plate is off, the oil is drained and i need a fitting to get that oil sender off tomorrow) then im going to run the car with the blower.., shut it down so I can do all the fun gas stuff. (Cartech fmu, AEM fpr)
Guages will come either tue or wed..(EGT, boost, fp)

trick to tightening? you talking about the belt tension? or actually the way to tighten it?
i tighten mine to a little more than 90degrees deflection. probably around 80 degrees or so (a little less than perpendicular to the floor)
but to tighten the belt...its a pain in the ***. first i loosen the 14mm nut on the tensioner pulley a couple turns so its loose but not going to come off.
on my setup that allows the gold tension adjuster to move away from the V1 bracket. i use a 10 inch extension with a universal pivot on the end and then the 14mm socket. when i tighten to desired tension the tension adjuster always creeps back towards the plate and the socket gets stuck on the adjuster.
i then get under the car...tighten the 14mm nut back up, and then use an extremely long flat head screwdriver and hammer to tap the socket off of the adjuster from the bottom. hope that helps you out a bit.

The socket goes on at an angle, but it engages the adjuster sufficiently to be able to tighten the tensioner.
