91 se + nos?

Hey guys I asked about this max about a month ago and I'm having seconds thoughts about it. It is rebuilt VE 5spd completely stock except for CAI and the NOS and I was wondering what parts of the engine would be damaged? The engine was completely replaced 28,000 miles ago, same with the clutch and tranny. He claims to have installed the nos at 5,000 miles after the rebuild. Would it be worth it to buy this max for $1600-2000 knowing that I was going to swap out the tranny and engine even if he hadn't installed nos?

Yea will if I'm gonna basically be buying a shell then I could just keep my gxe and go from there. I'm pretty set on upgrading to a VE would that fit in a GXE's engine compart? I'm assuming it would because both engines are 3 liters..........

facts:
VE = DOHC VG= SOHC
VE = COP ignition VG = Distributor
VE = VTC VG= nada
major differences electronically, however if you get a complete front clip it'd be fairly straightforward

Hmm well I was planning on completely replacing everything and I mean everything! And before someone says why are you throwing money away on a old *** car like this and not buying a new one? Its because of my misguided parents thinking that fixing up my car will be cheaper then buying a new car. I might just for a new VG and turbo it instead of doing all that work for VE. I'm a very indecisive person......heh.

it's not misguidance on your parents part.
it IS cheaper to fix up most cars than drop 10k on a new car, any used car is a gamble
