Squealing sound when I turn the wheel to the right

I've been noticing when I start the car and turn the wheel all the way to the right it, it makes squealing sounds. Sounds like what a belt squeal would sound like. Any idea?

power steering belt may be slipping. Tighten it up a bit and/or use some belt dressing.

other thing it could be (duh) is the end of the steering bump stop has worn through (its plastic) and is rubbing metal to metal on the lower wishbone of the suspention (where it "bumps"). I had this problem. you can get new bump stops for like $1 at the dealer.

Thanks guys. I'll look into it. I don't think it's the wheel bearing because it makes this noise when the car is running, but not moving.

which would rule out the bump stop too.

mine dies it when its cold, if i take it to lock real quick, the belt will chirp... no big deal.

do NOT use belt dressing on a belt. unless its a show car. ive seen that **** cause wayyy too many problems.
